Picante Black Bean & Red Tomato Salsa

2 Tomatoes -- diced
1 Green bell pepper -- seeded
& diced
1 md Onion -- diced
3 Cloves garlic -- minced
2 Jalapeno peppers -- seeded &
1 tb Cilantro -- minced
2 ts Lime juice
1-1/2 ts Ground cumin
1 ts Dried oregano
1/4 ts Black pepper
1/4 ts Salt
1/8 ts Cayenne pepper
2 c Canned crushed tomatoes
1 c Black beans -- drained
Combine all ingredients except crushed tomatoes and black beans in large bowl and blend well. Place 3/4 of the mixture in food processor and process for 5 seconds, creating a vegetable mash. Return the mash to the bowl, add the crushed tomatoes and beans and blend again. Cover the bowl tightly and chill for at least 1 hour, allowing the flavors to meld together.
